<p>The 2009 Regatta saw many Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley look-alikes celebrating our Pirates in the Caribbean Regatta. The events culminated with a ceremonial "walking the plank" battle followed by our traditional firework display</p>
<p>----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The 2008 Camelot Regatta saw King Arthur, his knights and their ladies tackling the challenges of the various on the water races. Thankfully, their armour didn't cause them to sink without trace! As usual, the weather was kind, right up to the final on-the-water jousting event</p>
<p>-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The 2007 Chinese Regatta took place on Saturday 1st September and Sunday 2nd September. We took a look East and had great fun with a Chinese theme. We brought the ying and yang to Burlsedon Pool and transformed it into a scene from the Yangze River. <br />-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------<br />The 2006 Regatta saw the Romans conquer Bursledon Pool. The weather was kind and fun and frolics were had on and off the water. One of the highlights of the day was the themed Chariot Race which took place over a watery 'Ben Hur' style course around Bursledon Pool. The fun continued well into the evening and culminated in a torch lit dinghy procession followed by a Roman Son et Lumiere and fireworks. <br /></p>
