<p align="justify">The Friends of the Regatta is the support organisation that the Regatta Committee relies upon to provide practical and financial help to make the Regatta possible. It is made up of about 100 local families, 70 business sponsors and the regular entrants to the yacht races. Residents donate on average £20 and firms donate £50. Friends receive Regatta Newsletters, a complimentary programme and are able to buy tickets for the friday evening dance.</p>
<p align="justify">The generous donations received from the Friends and volunteers help to contribute to more than half the costs of the weekend. We welcome new Friends and you can join by completing this <a target="mainright" href="http://www.bursledonregatta.co.uk/mainright.php?pages=1"><strong>form</strong></a>.</p>
<p align="justify">It is from the Friends that most of our volunteers come. We always need volunteers who can give an hour or two on the day to help with Stewarding, Tea and other Stalls, Firework collections, Safety Boats, Race Organisation, etc. We need more volunteers who want to have some fun making this fantastic Regatta happen. If you can give a small amount of time please complete the volunteer part of the form.</p>
